Swift Sale Shows Demand For Worcestershire Industrial Units
March 2015Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon LLP has sold the freehold of a 2,361 sq ft industrial unit in Bromsgrove in only 48 hours, underscoring the demand for such properties in the county.
Acting on behalf of a private individual, Hayley Miles, Graduate Surveyor in GJS Dillon’s Bromsgrove office, sold 2 Worcester Court, Smiths Way, Saxon Business Park, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, to an investor for £182,500.
“The property went on the market on Monday afternoon, the board went up on Wednesday morning, and by Wednesday afternoon we had an offer which was accepted,” explains Miss Miles.
“The speed of this sale shows that there is a shortage of such small industrial freehold properties with a strong demand from businesses looking to grow as the local economy goes from strength to strength. This is not just the case in Bromsgrove, but also in Droitwich, Redditch, Malvern and Worcester. For landlords this a good time to sell industrial freeholds.”
With offices in Worcester and Bromsgrove, GJS Dillon LLP is a firm of Chartered Surveyors which offers a comprehensive commercial property service, and unrivalled geographical coverage, throughout Worcestershire and along the M5 and A38 corridors.
