GJS DILLON TAKES ON BROMSGROVE PENSION PROPERTY PORTFOLIO
April 2019Worcestershire-based commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has been appointed to manage a mixed use property investment in Bromsgrove.
GJS Dillon will manage two retail units and an office in Church Street, Bromsgrove, which are held in a private individual’s Self Invested Pension Scheme (SIPP) through national SIPP provider AJ Bell.
GJS Dillon’s Commercial Property Manager Michelle Whitehead will provide day to day management services for the properties, collecting the rent and the service charge from the tenants and managing the fabric of the buildings.
“The SIPP owner is a Bromsgrove resident and wanted a local Chartered Surveyor to manage his properties, so he approached us to take over,” says Ms Whitehead.
“We already work closely with AJ Bell and other national SIPP providers carrying out valuations, rent reviews and management services for commercial properties held in pension funds, so we were pleased to take on this instruction.
“We are seeing increasing numbers of pension fund owners instructing us as they want their properties looked after by nearby local experts, rather than by remote national firms of surveyors.”
With offices in Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Worcester, GJS Dillon is a firm of Chartered Surveyors which offers a comprehensive commercial property service, including commercial agency, acquisition and business relocation, commercial property management, valuations, and building consultancy, and unrivalled geographical coverage, throughout Worcestershire and along the M5 and A38 corridors.
Further information on its management services is available from Michelle Whitehead on tel. 01527 872525 or via www.gjsdillon.co.uk/services/management
