GJS DILLON SELLS WORCESTER BANK FREEHOLD INVESTMENT
October 2018Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has sold the freehold investment in a Worcester bank building.
Acting on behalf of a private investor, Mike Pritchard, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold Lloyds Bank, New Road, St Johns, Worcester, WR2 4BL, to Whitehorse Estates acting for private clients for £420,000.
The Lloyds Bank branch has a total of 2,806 sq ft internal office and storage space on a total site area of approximately 0.2 acres.
The St Johns area of Worcester is one mile to the west of Worcester city centre and has a neighbourhood retail area with local traders and several multi-nationals, as well as being a popular area for apartments and private residential dwellings.
“With two years remaining on the lease to Lloyds Bank plc, the purchase represents either a solid investment or a potential future redevelopment opportunity on a gateway site to the neighbourhood shopping area of the St John’s,” says Mr Pritchard.
