GJS Dillon helps training and recruitment company expand into Bromsgrove office building, creating 80 new jobs
October 2017Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has sold a 6,500 sq ft Bromsgrove office building to a rapidly expanding workforce training and recruitment company for a new headquarters, in a move which will create 80 new jobs.
Acting on behalf of a private investor, Charlie Green, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold Saxon View, Saxon Business Park, Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove B60 4AD, a 6,547 sq ft, a detached modern office building to Episteme Group.
Founded by Sam Morgan, Matt Corden and Craig Hughes, three experienced directors with a combined 45 years’ experience in workforce solutions, Episteme Group helps businesses manage the complexities of government-funded workforce training programmes.
The organisation helps companies to sustain their own training needs within the requirements set out by the government. This means higher returns on investment, greater control and a more streamlined approach to creating a well-trained workforce, while maintaining government standards. By Summer 2018, some 147 people will work for Episteme Group.
Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Ministerial Champion for the Midlands Engine, and MP for Bromsgrove, officially opened the new headquarters building, renamed Episteme House, on 17 November.
Sam Morgan, Group Chief Commercial Finance Officer at Episteme Group, says: “Although they were acting for the vendor, GJS Dillon kept us informed throughout the sales process and ensured that it went through swiftly and smoothly. We were so impressed by their service that we have already retained them to carry out some property valuation work.”
Mrs Green says: “This is great news for Bromsgrove with the creation of a large number of new jobs. It’s no wonder Episteme Group wanted to be based in Bromsgrove, as it is an excellent location for businesses with its first rate communications and flexible workforce. Because of the town’s popularity, there is an increasing shortage of quality office accommodation in and around Bromsgrove.”
Saxon View is a two storey fully refurbished modern office building, with excellent on site car parking provision, located at the entrance to Saxon Business Park, Stoke Prior which is a popular business park situated approximately two miles south of Bromsgrove Town Centre and three miles from Junction 4 of the M5 Motorway and Junction 1 of the M42.
