GJS Dillon helps automotive upholstery business get new premises sewn up
September 2022A company specialising in automotive upholstery has relocated to new premises in Droitwich with the support of Worcestershire-based commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon.
The team at Stitch Perfect has now moved to 2 Wassage Way which is a terraced warehouse building at the entrance to the Hampton Lovett Estate in Droitwich. The 2,003 unit has a clear working height of circa nine foot (2.8 metres) and a concertina door providing access to a rear loading bay. The unit is within easy reach of local motorway networks and is only 3 miles from the M5.
Stitch Perfect, which was previously located in Worcester, specialises in the interior preservation and restoration of pre and post-war vehicles. The team has over 20 years’ experience and prides itself on setting high standards of craftsmanship and customer service.
Acting on behalf of a private pension fund, Kyle Pugh, GJS Dillon’s Graduate Surveyor, negotiated the five year lease.
Mr Pugh said ‘Stitch Perfect had very specific requirements for their new premises because of the specialist work they undertake. So we were very pleased to help them secure this tenancy at Wassage Way. Wychavon’s take-up of industrial property was the highest out of all six of Worcestershire’s sub-markets last year. Its spread of units across all sizes widens its appeal to larger companies and SMEs such as Stitch Perfect’
Joseph Bennell, Managing Director at Stitch Perfect said ‘We contacted GJS Dillion along with many other agents, unfortunately with demand being so high at the time it was difficult to find the right place. But GJS kept looking and finally found the perfect unit for us to move into. I would personally like to thank Kyle for persevering with the search’
