Demand for larger industrial units in Bromsgrove and Worcestershire remains strong, with a potential shortage looming, according to Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon Limited, which has let two industrial units of around 10,000 sq ft on the town’s Saxon Business Park.

Acting on behalf of a private landlord, John Dillon, managing director of GJS Dillon, has let Plot 11, Cartwright Road, Saxon Business Park, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, B60 4AD, at £60,000 per annum to Falcon Flooring on a new three year lease, with an option to purchase at any time in the first 12 months. Plot 11 is a 9,554 sq ft two storey industrial unit

Mr Dillon has also let, on behalf of a private landlord, Unit 28 West Court, Saxon Business Park, Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove B60 4AD to Production Support on a new five year lease at £52,000 per annum. Unit 28 is an 11,014 sq ft two storey industrial unit.

Both industrial units are only three miles from Junction 4 of the M5 motorway and junction 1 of the M42, providing access to the M40 and M6 national motorway networks beyond.

Mr Dillon says: “The demand for industrial units in Bromsgrove remains strong, with demand starting to outstrip supply. It is no surprise that businesses want to be based in Bromsgrove, which is fast becoming the premier business location in a county which itself is already one of the UK’s premier business locations.

“Worcestershire has excellent communications, through easy access to the M5, M42, and M40, and to Birmingham, London and international airports, a flexible workforce, significant industry clusters, key lifestyle factors, and there is useful assistance from the LEP, County Council and other public sector bodies. Only last November it was named as the most productive LEP area in England.”
