Malvern Office Sold For £1.4 Million
December 2015Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon Limited has sold a 10,000 sq ft office building in Malvern to a major local technology company.
Acting on behalf of owners Ranson Limited, John Dillon, Managing Director of GJS Dillon, sold the freehold of Turing House, Grovewood Road, Enigma Business Park, Malvern, WR14 1GD, a 10,276 sq ft two storey office building, with 54 car parking spaces, to the local technology company which does not wish to be named, for £1.4 million.
“The purchasers were by no means the only interested party, as Turing House was also sought after by a number of other potential purchasers, as there is a shortage of good quality freehold office buildings in the county,” says Mr Dillon.
“For landlords and owner occupiers there has not been a better time to sell since the credit crunch, as the recent changes to the SIPPs rules, continuing low interest rates and the increasing willingness of the banks to lend have made freehold properties very attractive, as many company directors seek to purchase a property for their business through their pension schemes.
“For any landlords or owner occupiers thinking of selling, our in-house building surveyor can advise on how to bring their properties up to standard to maximise the value for a sale,” says Mr Dillon.
“This sale once again underscores the strength of Worcestershire as a premier business location, with good communications, a flexible workforce, key lifestyle factors and ready assistance from the LEP, County Council and other public sector bodies.”
