Prime Town Centre Redevelopment Site
August 2014The Birmingham Road/Stourbridge Road junction car parking site is a gateway site at the northern end of the main High Street in Bromsgrove, at the junction between the B4091 Stourbridge Road and the Birmingham Road.
The site comprises a District Council owned car parking and as a gateway site into the town centre it is seen as an important potential mixed use location for leisure, restaurant, hotel and other associated commercial and residential uses (in line with the Bromsgrove Town Centre Area Action Plan).
The proximity of the site to the new Parkside Library and Council Hub, the Parkside Medical Centre, the new proposed Sainsbury development and the close proximity to the High Street makes this site ideally suited for associated uses as part of the overall town centre redevelopment programme.
John Dillon of GJS Dillon said: “This is an extremely important focal point at the northern end of the town and we anticipate a great deal of interest in the site”.
