Jonathan Mountford MRICS is a Director and RICS Registered Valuer, responsible for the Valuations and Professional Services’ Team, assisted by Anneka Wilks BSc (Hons) MRICS, who can provide a comprehensive valuation of your commercial property. Our Graduate Surveyor, Kyle Pugh – who is looking to gain his MRICS Qualification – is also part of the team.
The Department acts as Panel Valuers for most of the high street banks and lending institutions, however, is also equally skilled acting for individuals, property companies and SIPP and SSAS Pension Funds for commercial properties.
We liaise closely with our Agency Department and together with our combined knowledge and strong contacts, this makes GJS Dillon a first-class provider of professional services.
We undertake the tracking of local commercial comparable information and detailed database tracking of Lease and Rent Review information. This enables us to provide a bespoke service to lending institutions, developers, landlords, tenants and private individuals by delivering reports on time and consistently exceeding clients’ expectations.

RICS ‘Red Book’ Valuations for commercial property
A RICS Red Book Valuation is not a guess at a properties value, it’s a fully researched professional valuation of the property with supporting evidence and a worked methodology of how the valuation has been calculated. We carry out a considerable amount of valuations for bank lending, taxation, capital gains, inheritance tax, disputes, courts, SIPP or SSAS. Working with you legal and accounting advisors a Red Book valuation can save considerable stress, anxiety, confusion, money and time.

Lease renewals
At the end of a commercial lease we are able to advise either the landlord or tenant upon the terms for a renewal and the correct level of rent payable.

Rent reviews on all types of commercial property
Commercial leases allow the landlord the ability to review the rent in the lease at periodic times, usually every 3 to 5 years. We act for both landlord and tenant to ensure that the correct level of rent is set upon review.
