Let 28,000 sq ft Bromsgrove Industrial Unit
October 2017Acting on behalf of a private client, John Dillon, managing director of GJS Dillon, let Unit 11 Sherwood Road, Aston Fields Industrial Estate, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 3DR, a 27,948 sq ft industrial unit, on a 10 year lease. Lambert Smith Hampton was joint letting agent with GJS Dillon.
Unit 11 is a modern steel portal frame building with two storey offices and 6.6 metres eaves height, and is situated on a popular industrial estate, three miles from Junction 1 of the M42 motorway.
Prior to the letting, Mark Davies, GJS Dillon’s Director of Building Surveying Services advised the landlord on dilapidations, and negotiated costs for reinstatement, redecoration and repair works with the out-going tenant. The landlord said: “A special thanks to Mark Davies who negotiated the lease end dilapidations with the tenant so well. He quietly and efficiently went about acting for me and avoided prolonged negotiation, securing a deal that I was more than happy with, but that remained fair to all parties. We will definitely use him again.”
Mr Dillon said: “I am delighted that we could provide a comprehensive service to our client, dealing with the out-going tenant and securing a new tenant. We let this unit it to the previous tenant three years ago, and we moved quickly to re-let it on a new lease.
“Bromsgrove in particular, and Worcestershire in general, remain highly sought after business locations by companies which want to benefit from the town’s and county’s location, positive economic performance and outlook, and flexible workforce.”
