Increase In PI Cover Leads To Boost In Valuation
June 2017Worcestershire-based commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has boosted its valuation instructions on the back of increasing its Professional Indemnity (PI) cover.
The four-strong valuation team, led by GJS Dillon Director, Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer, Jonathan Mountford has won more than 10 new instructions to value properties worth more than £1 million across the West Midlands, after increasing its PI cover to £3 million.
“Our clients have welcomed the increased level of cover and we have been instructed to value a number of office properties in Birmingham and industrial estates in Worcestershire as a result,” says Mr Mountford.
GJS Dillon’s valuation team acts for banks and financial institutions, including Lloyds Bank, as well for landlords, developers, and tenants of West Midlands’ commercial properties to provide vital valuation information for commercial property transactions and building insurance policies.
“Last year we valued in excess of £150 million for the first time, but with the new PI cover we expect to easily exceed that this year,” says Mr Mountford.
