GJS Dillon’s RICS Registered Valuers are in demand as economy starts to recover
June 2020The UK economy is showing ‘tentative signs of improvement’ according to the Financial Times and this is reflected in an upsurge in demand for property valuations as banks seek to establish how far values have fallen during lockdown.
The Valuation and Professional Services Team at GJS Dillon deal with commercial and residential valuations and Homebuyers Reports together with commercial rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations. The department acts as Panel Valuer for most of the main High Street banks and lending institutions, however it is equally skilled at acting for individuals, property companies and SIPP and SASS pension funds when it comes to the valuation of premises.
John Dillon, GJS Dillon’s Managing Director says ‘We have 5 RICS Registered Valuers on our team which is quite unusual for a small consultancy. Professional standards are an essential part of our ethos here at GJS Dillon and this will provide added assurance to our clients that we are committed to providing an outstanding valuation service’.
Valuer Registration is a risk monitoring and quality assurance programme which checks compliance with the RICS Red Book. It ensures the highest valuation standards are met which offers protection and confidence to both valuers and clients.
