GJS Dillon is delighted to welcome Rob Cant who is taking up the post of Associate Director of Commercial Building Surveying. 

Rob has over 25 years’ experience as a Building Surveyor, having specialised in retail and commercial properties. He began his career as a Quantity Surveyor, working on prestigious projects such as the Millennium Stadium Cardiff. In 2001, he then worked in the banking, retail and tourism sectors providing a wide range of Building surveying services. More recently, Rob has worked in Gloucester, providing advice on feasibility reports, project monitoring and Building surveys.

Rob’s responsibilities at GJS Dillon will include providing detailed building surveys, the preparation of schedules of condition, providing reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes and preparing interim and final schedules of dilapidations on behalf of both commercial landlords and tenants.

Rob will be assisted by Mike Sutton, GJS Dillon’s Consultant Building Surveyor, who has 30 years’ experience working within the property profession.

Both Rob and Mike have been involved in a variety of building survey projects in Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands area and have significant expertise in carrying out commercial building surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations surveys as well as advising on commercial property fit outs and planned preventative maintenance programmes.
