Expanding Stonemasonry business to take on new space in Worcester

July 2023

Well-known local family run business, Stonemasons of Worcester is relocating part of its operations to a larger industrial unit in Bromyard Road, Worcester with the support of Worcestershire-based commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon.

Husband and wife team Tom and Zoe Adams established Stonemasons of Worcester in 2010. They have been supporting individuals and organisations with a range of projects ever since. These include stonemasonry for buildings, restoration, fireplaces, hearths and kitchen worktops as well as memorials. The team have recently carried out the restoration of parts of the Elim International centre in Malvern as well as St Swithun’s church in Worcester city centre.

Stonemasons of Worcester will maintain its dedicated memorial  showroom in New Street. However it will now undertake the remainder of its stonemasonry work from Unit 2B Everoak Industrial Estate in Bromyard Road. The semi-detached unit, which offers warehouse space and a mezzanine storage area to the rear, benefits from a secure yard and car parking to the front along with a new showroom for the trade and public. Acting on behalf of the Landlord, Kyle Pugh, GJS Dillon’s Graduate Surveyor, negotiated a ten year lease on the property.

‘Post-pandemic Worcester has become very popular, with strong demand from occupiers wishing to be near the city centre. There are no new build or high quality industrial schemes and very little availability otherwise so we were delighted to be able to help this client find such a fantastic location’ says Kyle

Stonemasons Co-owner Zoe Adams says ‘We’re grateful to GJS Dillon for helping us secure this great site for our re-location. Stonemasonry is a niche industry and requires a lot of room for our machinery and since we are taking on more projects we needed more space. The move was made even sweeter since we are able to keep our industry in St Johns so this really is the perfect spot for us’
